A handsome and striking civil servant, the idol of his office. He's a solitary man with a secret fear of finding himself depending on others. He breaks his arm knocking Nikaidou out of the path of a car and Nikaidou tends to his recovery in return, prompting Takumi to panic and lash out when he realizes he's grown attached to Nikaidou. He ultimately realizes he can't stand to be away from Nikaidou and they reconcile, but when he learns their relationship may threaten Nikaidou's budding acting career, he again finds himself in a dilemma.
