The eldest son Nao is a bishounen/pretty boy whose appearance can be easily mistaken for a girl's. Characterized by "his" (her?) long silky hair, Nao is a gentle and tidy person. His gentle demeanor and calming smile is said to attract many customers to the "Cherry Girls" cafe.
(Note: The term used to say he attracts customers was "kanbanmusume," which implies a female that attracts male customers to the shop. In the original text, it said (?), since Nao is really a male.)
Nao wears a maid outfit which consists of a fascinating long sleeved kimono which lends itself to the shop's name by being patterned with sakura flowers. The obi worn around his waist is also accented with an elegant sakura flower.
