He is one of the seven Level 5 espers, ranking second after Accelerator and is the leader of SCHOOL, one of the many underground factions.
He shares a rivalry with Mugino Shizuri, team leader of ITEM and Level 5 esper. He strives to become the strongest, even if it means to kill off Accelerator. He's also a ruthless, cocky, and coldhearted individual who shows no mercy or compassion towards his enemies or bystanders, and won't hesitate to look down on anyone whom he deems inferior.
