Kojirou is a childhood friend of Komachi, and is currently dating her. He always dresses and talks like a samurai because Komachi once told him that she liked strong men while reading her father's manga based on he and Komachi. He is a year younger than the other main characters and is good friends with Hinata's younger brother Taiyou.
