Kouno comes off as rather flighty and doesn't take anything serious but deep down he's got a lot built up inside especially when it comes to his friend, Natsu. The list of flaws are endless, over emotional, jealous, and always trying suppress his feelings but despite all those flaws, he's got a big heart but is scared to let it shine through.
