Haruto is the main protagonist of the story. As the story begins, he is going to attend the local high school like everyone else, but before the break is over, Eba moves in with him. This is the start of many trials for him.
Though Haruto usually puts up a negative and stingy front, he is actually a caring and responsible guy who makes both his and Eba's lunches every day, as well as letting her ride on his bike back home.
Haruto's also had a crush on his former classmate, Kanzaki Nanami, since middle school, but he's still not able to confront her about it.
