Naru starts the series as Usagi's best friend in school. Her mother owns a jewelry shop and she is the victim of several attacks by Youma.<div class="spoiler"><span class="spoiler_content">She falls in love with Nephrite, who dies trying to protect her from Zoisite, then latter in the series she ends up falling in love with Gurio aka Melvin. </span></div>
