The former advisor to the Hirin Middle School Birl's Kendo Club. He lost his position as advisor when the Boys' Kendo Club and the Girls' Kendo Club merged into a single club and a new adviser was appointed.
He believes his popularity with the ladies comes from the combination of his glasses, beard, and identity as a kendoka. He tried wearing contacts once and lost his popularity. He shaved his beard and was immediately dumped by his ex-girlfriend. He quit kendo for a year to try tennis and went without a girlfriend for the duration.
