The main protagonist of the series. A 16 years old high-school student who has a big crush on Haruna Sairenji. His father is a manga writer and is very different from Rito. Rito used to be on the soccer team in junior high, but he quit because he was constantly helping his father with manga. His younger sister Mikan comments he's very good at "useless little things" like crane games. Rito shows signs of developing deeper feelings for Lala throughout the story.
