Known as Irk, he is the morning mist tree spirit, who asked for Noriko's help in saving the souls of the villagers who once live in the village at the forest where he lives. He was greatly saddened by the fate of the villagers that are his friends. His appearence is thatof a young boy with silvery white hair and violet eyes. He was named after his namesake, a hero from a story that his villagers knew. It was the villagers who had named him Irktule after that hero.
