Complete the first mission. When you gain access to the Rogue Shadow, you can enable cheat codes. When on board your ship between missions, choose the "Extras" option, then pick the "Enter Code" option and input any of the listed codes.
Note: You will not able to save the game once non-costume codes are enabled. To bypass this restriction, activate the code on a level that has an auto-save point. After reaching that location, intentionally die. Quit to the main menu then select "Continue" option. Here you can manually save the game with that code still enable.
