Pause the game, hold L2, then press: All Weapons - in R-Type or R-Type II, press RIGHT, UP, LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, followed by Triangle, Square, X, Circle, or R1. Slow Motion - RIGHT, UP, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, LEFT, DOWN, LEFT, X. Turbo Mode - RIGHT, UP, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, LEFT, DOWN, LEFT, Circle.
Extra Credits: At the Title screen, keep pressing Start in any R-Type game to get up to 99 credits.
Level Select and FMVs: Highlight either the "R-Type" or "R-Type II" Options at the Title screen. Then, quickly press L2 10 times, R2 10 times. Start the game and press Start to access any level or view the FMVs.
