Access secret stages Golden Valley and Clouds of Twilight: To access the secret stages Golden Valley and Clouds of Twilight in either Score Attack or Arcade mode, you must finish stage 5 (Coastal Industrial Zone) or stage 9A/9B (Iceberg Base/Sea of Clouds) with at least 4 stars. You will then play the secret stage in place of the stage normally encountered (Great River Valley or Sea of Twilight). To earn a star, complete a stage with at least 50% shot down. You will lose one star if you are shot down, and you will lose all stars if you lose all lives and continue the game. You can have a maximum of 5 stars.
Clouds of Twilight Finish stage 9A or 9B with at least 4 stars Golden Valley Finish stage 5 with at least 4 stars
